New Year, New Look, Same Great Service

We are excited to unveil our new logo and new look for the New Year!

Our logo was designed to symbolize our unique approach to customer service. Obviously, the letter ‘W’ represents Ed Whitcomb, one of our original founders, who set the standard for our 29 years of quality client service. The blue in the W signifies the principles and values that we have held dear since our formation in 1983.  These can be summarized in three words: Credibility, Reliability, Relationships. 

Credibility — since our founding we have been committed to providing our clients with the best knowledge-based team of professionals in the area.  Combined, the owners of this firm alone possess over 150 years of experience working with individuals as well as closely held businesses in financial, accounting, and tax arenas. Ed Whitcomb once said to “hire the best”.  We make that a priority because we realize our clients place a great deal of trust in our team.

Reliability — we realize that it doesn’t matter how much we know if we aren’t accessible to our clients.  We believe strongly in the importance of connecting regularly with them to understand their goals and challenges.  This allows us to better anticipate the issues that our clients should be considering as we help them plan for the various stages of their lives. 

Relationships — our team cares deeply for our clients.  That sincere caring has translated into many meaningful relationships forged over time.  This clearly has been the most rewarding part of our business! The relationships that have grown with each of our clients give us even greater motivation to help them meet their financial, tax and business needs.

The second component of our new logo is the green arrow.  I love that color! Green stands for life, growth, and progress and the arrow indicates forward and upward movement.  The green arrow signifies our approach to  the services that we provide to help our clients through the current  challenging economic times as well as those we will face in the future.  

More than ever before, we are committed to improving our investment and tax expertise to meet client needs.  Many of our investment and tax specialists continue to pursue additional training and higher education degrees throughout the year. In addition, we launched our enhanced website on January 1, 2012, to provide our clients with access to current and timely investment, financial, and tax information.
