Tim Hilterman, Investment Advisor for Whitcomb & Hess, Inc., has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) Designation. This designation provides Tim with the knowledge and tools needed to help individuals and families articulate and advance their highest aspirations for themselves, their families, and their community.
“Tim joins a very specialized group with the CAP® Designation. We appreciate Tim’s commitment to charitable giving. He helped create a drug prevention fund to help combat the heroin crisis and is a Connections Fund Advisory Committee member,” said RCF President Brady Groves.
Connections is a vibrant group of professionals, community leaders, and citizens with a desire to give back to their community. The fund, established in 2004, provides grants for community programs and projects. The grant dollars come from membership contributions and a growing endowment.
Tim explains the reason he pursued this designation, “While each of us has our unique challenges, the fact is that we have all been blessed with a measure of time, talents, and treasures. As I began to look closer at our community, I discovered a deep-seated desire for giving back. I want to empower community members to think big, make a positive impact in the world and feel the joy of using their wealth, talents, and experience to improve the lives of those around them.”
