W&H Operating Procedures During COVID-19 - 3.20.20

Based on the current situation concerning COVID-19, Whitcomb & Hess has made the decision to have most of our team begin working from home. This change will not impact our commitment to providing you with high-quality service and timely communication. To help us follow the Governor's recommendations for social distancing, and to make this transition smooth for everyone, we encourage you to:

  • Call before coming to the office, in case the person you would like to speak with is working from home. Please refrain from coming into the office if you or anyone in your household is ill.
  • Consider meeting with your CPA or Advisor virtually, rather than in person. We value our face-to-face meetings with you, but for the time being, virtual meetings are safer for all of us. Please call us to set this up.
  • Utilize the drop box on our side door if you are just dropping off paperwork. Our front office team will get it where it needs to go.
  • Consider allowing us to mail your completed tax return. You are always welcome to call your CPA or Advisor with any questions you may have about the return or what you need to with any payments or forms.

Our office will remain open, and we are continuing to follow CDC guidelines of increased sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and requiring any of our team to stay home if they have a fever or are feeling ill. Your safety, the safety of our team and their families, and the security of your personal information is paramount.
